GAM-Sorb

GAM-Sorb is a trade name of soil humidity conditioning material, which is often called super-water absorbent (SWA). The usage of material is considered as one of the most useful solutions for farming in the drought-stricken, acrid or water-lacking areas due to climate change. The main component of GAM-sorb is a modified starch, which can degrade by itself due to microorganism in soil and sunlight to make it an organic humus with a shelf-life of 24 months. This material can absorb several hundred gram of water for 1 gram of its dried weigh.
